As a photographer, most of my work is client driven, based on how my clients want to feel, and want to be seen. I make suggestions, but I am ultimately trying to help them see their vision, and bring it to life, which is a special joy. However, every other month or so, I make content purely for my soul, often in concert with other creatives.

What is so interesting about this, is that often when clients see the creative content, it leads them to ask for things they didn’t know were possible. That is exactly what happened when I when I was brainstorming with my friend, and fellow artist Cici Anderson. She dreamed up the idea for the cupid shoot. We collaborated with the talented Sierra White for the garments, she generously completed her bridal line of lingerie to use as the different looks for the photoshoot. Many thanks to Cici, Sierra, Serena, Danie and Natalia-the models for helping this content day be such a success!

Since then I have had many clients request petals, clouds and wings for one of their looks. Expanding my wheel house and shooting for fun lights me up and helps me produce better work for my clients.
